Welcome, beautiful human. Thank you for choosing All About Skin Studio to care for your skin. These terms help keep our studio running smoothly, respectfully, and with the same calm energy your skin deserves. Please read them before booking.

1. Bookings & Deposits

• Appointments over the value of R600 require a non-refundable deposit of 50% to secure your booking. This ensures your appointment times are reserved just for you. Deposits are applied to your final service total. Full payment is due at your appointment unless otherwise arranged in advance.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Please provide 12 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within the confirmed notice period may result in forfeiting your deposit.

• No-shows will be charged the service. Ghosting is for dating apps, not facials.

3. Late Arrivals.

• Please arrive on time. A rushed facial is like a rushed soufflé — it simply doesn’t rise.

• Arrivals more than minutes late may result in a shortened service or a rescheduled appointment depending on the day’s schedule.

4. Payment

• Accepted payment methods: Cash, Card, EFT or SnapScan.

• EFT Payments: Payment is due on the day of your appointment. If your EFT has not yet reflected, a Proof of Payment must be provided before leaving the studio. Outstanding balances must be settled within 24 hours. Future appointments may be declined until any outstanding amounts have been paid. Please use your full name as your payment reference.

• Prices may change with notice.

• Your loyalty is always valued.

5. Gift Cards

• Gift cards are non transferable, valid for 3 years and can be redeemed for services and/or products. 

6. Health, Skin Conditions & Patch Tests

• Kindly disclose any allergies, sensitivities, medications, pregnancy, or skin condition by completing our consultation form on the Fresha app before your appointment.

• Patch tests may be required for certain treatments for your safety and comfort.

• Clients with contagious conditions, including sores, conjunctivitis, or active rashes, will be asked to reschedule.

7. Results & Expectations

• Skincare is a journey, not a magic trick. Results vary based on skin type, lifestyle, home care, and SPF honestly. You’ll always receive professional, truthful guidance — not just what sounds nice.

• No treatment guarantees permanent or instant results.

8. Home Studio Etiquette

• Please arrive solo unless a companion has been pre-approved.

• Phones should be silenced during treatments.

• Pets must stay at home unless previously arranged.

• Parking and arrival instructions: parking is available outside house, please avoid blocking neighbours driveway or in a spot that can create an thoroughfare issue.

9. Photography & Social Media

• Progress photos may be taken to track your skin journey.

• Photos will only be used publicly with your explicit permission.

10. Products & Retail Sales

• Product recommendations are based solely on your skin’s needs.

• Opened products are non-refundable for hygiene reasons.

• Unopened items may be exchanged within 7 days.

11. Liability

• All treatments are performed with care, in strict hygienic conditions and professional training.

• By booking, you acknowledge that skincare treatments carry inherent risks and agree that the studio is not liable for reactions resulting from undisclosed health information.

12 Respectful Conduct

• All About Skin Studio is a calm, inclusive, judgement - free space.

• Disrespectful behaviour may result in refusal of service.

13. Updates to These Terms

• These terms may be updated periodically. The latest version is always available upon request.

• By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms. Thank you for supporting a small, home-based studio — every appointment truly means the world.
